All of these look great! However, I think 14-16 are a little too green. My concern is that we'll seem more like a green energy company than a church. With that said I think #12 accomplishes the growth them in a subtle way. I feel bad ever saying "I don't care for" someone's work but #13 kind of fits that bill.

Love #29. Clean and simple and a new idea that hasn't been used in the contest yet. Great job!

ALL DESIGNERS: Thank you all for your work. We have some really great designs here. Most up to this point, however, have submitted modern designs. I would still like to see some older, vintage looking designs (as mentioned in the brief) as well. If anyone would like to give that a shot it would be appreciated. If I wasn't clear enough before, or if you have more questions let me know. legible old English (not too old English haha) or script; vines or something like that coming off the letters. If you give it a shot I'll be able to give some more direction. Thanks again.

Question: Is #29 black or brown? I'm having a hard time telling on my screen. Also, you've had some great entries up to this point and I'd really like to see something from you that goes in the direction mentioned in the previous comment. I've had a few new ones, but given what you've already submitted, I think you could probably hit it out of the park.

nice new additions, especially #53. I'd like to see a few minor adjustments if possible: remove the outer ring from the swirl in #53 and use the font from #29.

Really like #56! Please add two more squares on the left to make 5 and define the "e" a little more. Also, a friend of mine had a suggestion to make a pile of leaves or just 5 leaves in place of the squares and make the "e" look viney.

Note to all designers: As you noticed, I've extended the contest by a few days. Just one more day left!! At this point I've narrowed it down to roughly 15 designs. The shortlist you see is my ranking, but there are nearly 20 people that will be making this decision collectively. All of you have been ranked at the top by someone. So, that means that if you're on the shortlist you have a chance to win! At this point I would like to ask something of everyone. Please submit a version of your designs both with the word "church" and without. Please do it in such a way that "church" can be taken out without greatly affecting the design. I will also be making individual comments and requests for each design. There are a few tweaks I would like to see here and there so keep an eye out for those. Also, if you have a great idea pop up don't hesitate to submit those new ones as well. Finally, thank you EVERYONE for your hard work. You are all very talented and creative, and unfortunately, that makes this decision all the harder.

I've had a backlash from friends who really liked your original submission with only three squares. Could you please resubmit that? In addition to that, please define the "e" a little more. Right now, it could be viewed as a "c" or an "e". A few more things: remove the leaf at the end of the "e" and try out some different colors. Would prefer no brown. Thanks!
