#22 ... #26: We love the tone you choose, it's simple, elegant and friendly. We like the font chosen and the details in bright green. May be the problem we see is that the icon is too merged with the name, and that makes difficult to use it alone.
#22: The green tail was a beautiful improvement from #23 (a bit too similar to the Amazon smile?), how could it be part on the isolated icon?
#25, #26: We don't like too much to highlight letters inside the name, it destroys the ambiguity of "book+evocation". But we like the idea of small circles to suggests "evocation".
#5, #6: They were discarded because we don't like to use the letter "E" as an icon, it's too generic for "e-lectronic" words, and it's very far from the image of "book+evocation".
#27: Similar reasons to #5 and #6. The comic globe suggests chatting and communication, not individual dreaming and evocation.
The pictorial symbol on the left side of the logo symbolizes a person reading a book, but if people don't interpret it that way, they would see the pages inside a book cover, instead of the arms of a person. The symbol is an abstract, but modern appeal. I hope you like this idea, and I'll be building off of it more.
#40: The pictorial symbol is a bit too complex, I'm sorry. We liked the circles of #25 because they remind us the "evocation" idea, but see them as the head of a person reading is a bit forced and loose the original focus.
(can you remove the smal tail of the first "O"? A globe reminds communication and speech, but a cloud reminds evocation and dreaming)
thanks, we hope you find some idea for the pictorial image.
#48: Discarded just because the green version (#46) looks better than the brown one (#48).
#46,#49: We like this pictorial more than the previous one, the "string of beads" in the pictorial is a nice re-utilization of the one that appears on the name, and the B&W adaptation is well done. The only problem is that it's not easy to see the "string of beads" as an "evocation".
Thanks for the comment on my newest entries. I just have one question, could you explain what you mean for the logo to have "evocation" in it, because I'm confused by what you mean when you say this. If we got that cleared up, I may have some better ideas to share.
We prefer #72 than #71, because it's simpler and more minimalist, in fact the minimalism of the black and white version #73 is amazing. But there is a small problem, we are ashamed to say that the shape of the book remind us underpants. We don't know what could you do to solve this small issue.
Black and white version that would look great in a small size for printing purposes. This logo is also different enough where you'd be able to tell what company the logo is from once people get used to seeing it alone. I hope you like it!
