Eating RulesLogo Design Contest

Thanks for your last-minute entries! ;)

I like #146 - the circles look like a plate without being too heavy-handed... though I'm not in love with the font choices. (I also don't think I want "healthy & delicious food" in the logo... if I did want other text, it would probably be something else; not sure on that. Let me sit with this one for a little while.

In #151 it looks more like a vinyl record. #148 is very, very cool - but conceptually I don't think it really fits with my site.

#145 doesn't mean much to me - and downplays the "rules" a little too much.

Thanks for the revisions. For now I picked #161 - though it's really kind of arbitrary.

I think for this design to really work, it's going to have to be a little more inventive, especially in the way in which the letters themselves interact with the circles of the "plat" image.

I probably don't actually want a slogan in the logo - though the "Est. 2010" is kind of cute, so we can keep that as a placeholder now if you want.

Sorry if my comments are a little vague - I'm not quite sure exactly how we might make this logo come together completely. If you look at some of the other designs in the contest that I respond positively too, you'll probably start to notice that I really prefer inventive, simple, and creative ways to tie things together into a unified image...

Oh! #191 is really great - but unfortunately it's very similar to Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution logo so I couldn't' use it... :(
