Here are two versions without Holiday Wrath and without lines on the roof. You can choose the one that feels better. In general, this is from the beginning a pen drawing made by hand and later converted to a one color vector art so easy print is guarantied even for the billboard sizes. All lines are a bit irregular but razor sharp. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #110 I am thinking, I agree! But, appreciate seeing, so I know. Same on roof lines. I see that they define porch. Where are you , by the way. No biggie if you aren't supposed to share. Just curious! Thanks. 1 year ago sculptor commented on #110 Thanks! I think that Holiday Wreath helps to brake monotony of the balustrade but I will upload version without it later today - also without the lines on the roof. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #110 Hi Sculptor! Last question! You WILL be the winner and I will click Submit tomorrow. Been traveling a lot. Question, do we want the Holiday Wreath? Thoughts? Is it interesting or do I strike. Also, there are some lines on the roof. Small thing, I realize. Do they add or take away? May not. even matter Just checking. Thanks again. After quite a few surveys, all my design friends and others have loved your work. P.S. The spatula is just fine. No to chefs. I am focused on home cooks and cookbook authors and icons as speakers, thus the mention of fork / spoon. People will taste samples from the classes, sessions. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #111 Hi there. I am also traveling. But will make my decision when I return this Friday. Yes, Sculptor is still in 1st place. Many thanks! Nancy 1 year ago sculptor commented on #111 Tomorrow I will leave for a short winter vacation. I shall be back on Saturday 4-th of February. Please let me know if you need any revisions before I leave. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. 1 year ago sculptor commented on #111 Here is the darkest version - however, with final files you will be able easily to change it to any shade as this is one color, vector artwork. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #110 I like very much. Can we add them to the black option. Or the fourth option which is a tidbit darker, in my opinion. Thank you! 1 year ago sculptor commented on #110 I added kitchen utensils which should suggest culinary activities. Please let me know if you'd rather see chef's hat or some other symbols. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #108 Hi there. This is working better. Thank you. I doo want to refer you back to the brief. I did add the culinary focus to the brief. Also, most of The Sessions are culinary in nature, i.e. Cookbook Author talks, demos, classes, tastings, more. Not a restaurant but culinary. Let's see what might be doable? 1 year ago sculptor commented on #108 I'm uploading two darker shades of gray - #106 #107 and this one pure black. I'm sorry but I can't add fork and spoon because one designer used them in the blind phase and he could feel I copy him. Besides, I'm not sure if this is the best idea as it could create impression that this is about restaurant. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #96 Hi Sculptor! I did a survey! Folks are loving this version a lot. They love the type and the realism of the house. The whole thing is coming off a bit grey. Any way to darken, reach toward black-ish. Also, I added a need for a nod to culinary in the brief. Any way to add a fork, spoon, etc. to the design. I'd love to see. Again, you got the top votes in my survey to co-workers, my design peers. Thanks. P.S. Moved you into the top spot so you make changes. Thanks. 1 year ago sculptor commented on #96 Here you are. (I also introduced new color and font in #97.) 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #30 Sorry for delay. Lots of opinions. I'd like to see this without the Pink type. And, folks in my team are not liking the type for the Sessions. I'd like to see another option. And, I'd like to see it say The Sessions. Thank you! 1 year ago sculptor commented on #77 I made it a bit darker. This is pure, one color, flat (no gradients) vector graphic so it's guarantied to print great on every media from t-shirts to billboards. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #30 Really loving this one. Before we run out of time, I wonder if you can work to get Nancy's added, a la Nancy's Eastman House; The Sessions could be the second line. Also wonder if house if too light for printing, wide use? Also, is type a tad small. 1 year ago sculptor commented on #30 Here is more modern iteration. I didn't use the font you pointed to becasue it has a vintage feel which if you wanted to avoid. 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #21 Also, see file I uploaded of old magazine from 30's for Eastman House. The type is really fun! 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #21 Very nice. Such attention to detail.; such a capture! Thank you! Question— wonder if the color dates it? Also, does it help to play with Nancy's Eastman House with a subtitle, The Sessions? 1 year ago eastmanhouse commented on #22 Withdrawn Wow. Really really appreciate the work on this. LOVE. Stunning. Right down to the lights. I uploaded the original Magazine from the house. See the type—could be fun to use that? House was built in 1933. Really love this. Weird question, is there any way to lighten or modernize. Perhaps, it is that goldy tone? Not sure. Does it look too antique? Not sure? 1 year ago
