Top Three Things to Communicate

#1 - A neighborhood pizzeria, with a franchise feel (new image)
#2 - New york style brick oven pizza
#3 - The only place to think of when you think of pizza

Our Target Audience:

East Coast Pizza has been in business for 5 years and we are trying to give it a new image. Our average age customer is 45. We attract families where both parents work and average income is about 65k per household. We have a mix of all different kinds of occupations. The community is very family oriented and there is always things going on that keeps them busy. We are about 30 mins from the beach. We are 1 of the few independently owned businesses around. Most places are franchises. Our product is superior to anything around. We have 50% dining in and 50% take-out. At our 2nd location we also offer delivery.
There is a retirement community 10 mins away that we get a lot of people from. Especially during snowbird season. We do alot with the local schools, spirit nights and banquets. Kids love coming to the store.

Color Preferences

It's an Italian Pizzeria, so green, white, and red are the common ones. I would be open to something different. I do have a large sign at one of my stores where the EAST(green) COAST(white) PIZZA(red). I am looking for a new professional image. Our website is getting redone, pizzaboxes, menus.....

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

www.EastCoastPizza.com I had 2 logos that i didn't like. I'm not really sure what I want. I would like to see a few different ways. I liked my logo with the skyline but I wanted it to be more fun, maybe with an abstract skyline. I have also thought about making a mascot for my store. A Lion Cub was the thought to help get the kids wanting to come more. But I am open to anything. I need something that will look good on boxes, website, shirts, hats.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

I would like something not so common. Prefer not to have a slice of pizza like every mom and pop place. I am looking for something that looks like a franchise. Something that a large chain would come up with. Not your everyday pizza shop. No fat chef, no oven with flame. Something different and never seen.

My store T-shirts and polos are Black, with khaki pants. Something classy, modern with an old world touch. (If that makes any sense). Trying to create a great Brand. Something that will look great on the black shirts, black hat, white or brown pizza box, clear or paper cups, bags, etc...

Also doesn't have to have all of those original green, white, red colors. I am open to anything creative that can go well with all I have described.
