#2 - I really like this logo at first glance. It is of course very similar to the logo that I conceived. However, the one major issue with it is that the East and West on the compass is reversed. I of course have worked on this problem in my head for months when creating my concept design and it really troubled me. The main reason is that one of the core survival skills that we teach is navigation and many people have to be taught the directions and their orientation. My fear is that if we reverse the directions in the logo design that we will be subconsciously hurting the ability of our students to learn the directions correctly. Not sure how to overcome this problem (glad that I have all of you to help). If it weren't for the reversed compass this logo would be first
