After careful consideration of the requirements of your logo design I present my concept. Utilising the effective graphic icons you have already, I have created a fresh look for them. Using three soft-cornered squares, separated by fine vertical lines - these create a subtle sectioning off of each area - this design gives a clear impression of professionalism and being at the pinnacle of your field in terms of quality and service. Two versions, one with a deep prussian-style blue and silver/grey gradient. The other with a one-colour treatment in the blue. Equally effective for office printing in one colour.
By the way, I have chosen to keep this very 'clean' and go with no line above Sydney. In this design I feel that the Trajan Pro serifs actually create an invisible line across the baseline of the text. It's very nice really. With just the right amount of space between it and Sydney, there becomes a perfect balance. No line is necessary.
The lines between the three icons also creates a sense of order. More lines would break that equilibrium.
Your feedback is very welcome and I look forward to any you might have. Michael
Thanks, no problem. I understand what you are saying - please let it sit for a while as it might shine through. When you said "we'll be around forever" (I like that!) I tried to do something timeless in essence.
If there's anything you'd like to see revised with the design just let me know.
Ah another beautiful day in paradise (Brissy). Hope it's sunny in Syd.
I thought I'd take a look at eliminating the deco look and reworking things has given this a cleaner look. I hope you have time to review. Thanks Michael
