eagles of golfLogo Design Contest

My immediate thoughts prior to submitting this contest were the eagle's wings, but thankfully people such as yourself have a different perspective. I feel this is a strong yet simple design that demonstrates what I'm trying to achieve. What do I see, young golfers ripping up golf courses throughout the city, and heading off to their local nightclub after still wearing the attire purchased from Eagles of Golf. I like this logo, but do you have more in the bag?? Definitely close to the finish line with this one, thanks

#29 - wings and alternate name

The wings could be an interchangeable part of the design, depending on how you are using it.

Very time I come back the logos #12 catches my eye. And it's the only one without wings. One of the reasons I like it is that the golf ball is equally noticeable as the prominent eagles head. Having this enlarged as a shop sign would look great I think + would look good on a t-shirt.

I'm getting varying feedback from friends on the name, since you're sitting in first place, what's your opinion....eagles of golf or golf eagles?? Feedback appreciated

Personally, I would lean toward Golf Eagles. I'm a golfer, so I understand the Eagle reference, but was there any other inspiration for choosing that name?

I wanted to give you the wings as an option, but I agree the simpler, round design is my favorite.

I started with Urbangolf (still like that name). I wanted to definitely have golf in the name so looked to marry this with another image that would stand out visually. I thought Eagles would work as it relates to golf and could potentially create a strong logo (as has been indicated in this contest). For me a name that would represent the next generation of golfers, thus Eagles of golf........or Golf Eagles.

Does this make sense?

It makes perfect sense, and thanks for the background info. Based on that, I'll stick with my vote for Golf Eagles. :)

How soon do you expect clothing to be in production? I'd probably want to add a shirt or two to my collection.

Is there any way on introducing subtle dimples to the golf ball without disturbing the simplicity of the design. Just a last moment thought.

From feedback, depending on who's looking at it, some can see the golf ball on the tee, some it's not so obvious. Personally I'm leaning on not altering the design, but want to make sure.
