Our Ideas & Additional Information
Create a logo design for an affiliated business of Hasta Industries Pty Ltd engaged in the importation and retailing of Bicycles in Australia.

The tentative name is ‘Dyson Bikes’, this is a strong simple name, however is easily confused with Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Business overview

Primarily the business will focus on electric bicycles.

An electric bicycle or ‘e-bike’ is one which is fitted with a battery that provides power to an integrated motor providing assistance to the rider when required. The benefit of this system is that speed is maintained regardless of head winds, hills or rider effort. This mode of transport also a cost effect mode of transport for shorter trips versus public transport or private motor vehicles.

E-bikes can be legally ridden without a licence or permit on public roads or designated bike paths.

The current market for e-bikes in Australia is 30-45 year old males and 55+ male and female buyers, shifting toward all buyer types 15+ in the next ten years as awareness of the product benefits grow and costs reduce.

Products will be marketed directly to end consumers online, through product demonstrations and word of mouth. We also plan to be in retail bike stores with a ‘lower end’ range of product.

The logo will be used on all communication channels such as online, (social media, website, mobile, video) print, vehicle signage, displays and other out of home.

Considerations

The logo should be clean, simple, modern without being futuristic and convey a high quality, premium feel to the product.

The logo needs to be sized so it will fit comfortably on to the tubing of a bicycle frame and remain clear and legible.

It should be of a single colour for ease and cost efficiency when building the bicycle.

In future regular pedal bicycles, bicycle accessories and other electric powered vehicles may be added to the range.

hi all, when the logo appears on an actual bike - the word 'bikes' does not need to appear, nor the tag line.
