Duke's PetsLogo Design Contest

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ At contest close you will need to have 3 different designers ranked in the top three positions.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

#1 You did a great job of getting the tag line in the logo! Very nice use of colors. I am just not thrilled with the picture of the dog. It looks a little strange. Thank you!

#2 Your logo definitely made me smile. I am concerned that the tag line is not very clear. Nice color! Thank you!

Designers--I forgot to mention that the name "Duke" was chosen to convey the idea of a large dog--very cool dude--strong and confident leader.

#6--I am not interested in the cowboy look. I am surrounded by rural area but would like a modern look to my logo. Thank you!

#3, 4,5--I like the mark! I would like to see a better image in the "d." The colors in #3 are best. Not sure about the font. Thank you!

#7-I need to have the tag line in logo. I also would like the logo to be a bit more sophisticated. The pet store is going to have a boutique "look" to it. Thank you!

#8-Very nice! The dog looks happy because he's on a natural diet and you even included a cat. The dog reminds me of my rottweiler when he runs to me :) I like the colors as well.

Thank you, Designers! You are making it very hard to rank. FYI: I am not opposed to dog pictures or silhouettes of dogs. I am not interested in cartoon characters of dogs, though.

I must tell you all that your designs are brilliant! Thank you for continuing to create designs. I am excited to see what the next two days will bring! Very difficult to rank!

FYI Designers: I have changed the tag line to: Home of Duke's Dog Training & Natural Diets for Life! This will have no bearing on the winner if you already used the old tag line. I will request a revision when I select the winner.

FYI Designers--the entrance of the store has a stone front and the rest of the outside of the store is painted taupe. The interior has tuscan olive shelving and light tuscan olive walls with counters and retail furniture in a cherry wood color.

I am finding it difficult to settle on which design I like best. I would love to see more designs!

I know I have some new designers. I appreciate your entries, however; I am unable to view page 2 of my entries. Every time I click on page 2, I get sent back to the logotournament home page. I sent an email to logotournment and hopefully they will resolve the problem immediately.

It will take me some time to decide on a final winner. As it stands, any of the top 10 designs could be 1st place. There are many that I like for different reasons! Thank you all for accommodating my requests. If you have any last minute entries--I would love to see them.
