Also #14 has got me thinking, as the glomerulus and capsule kind of reminds me of a hand, perhaps something like a hand "nurturing" a glomerulus - like I'm going to carefully look after your kidneys, right down to every last glomerulus!!
Hi, Here are three slightly different color schemes. Please let me know if you want the hand to be more visible or just - excuse me - pure guts (glomerulus).
Yes, I'm really liking this the more I see it - just the colours need a teeny bit of tweaking #24 #25 #26. Perhaps more bright gold for the logo and a little lighter in the background purple colour. I'm getting a lot of positive feedback about how it looks like a hand as well as a glomerulus, so that's very positive. Has a real "helping hand" vibe about it.
Also, the lettering could do with being centred, and a little sharper and professional looking. Some of my friends have said they've had a bit of trouble reading it. #25
Would it also be possible to see a variant with the golden logo, purple lettering and a white background? (I am interested to see how this would look on my letterhead)
Here are requested revisions with different shades/fonts combinations. Please let me know if you have some more ideas to make work for you. If you have some specific shade of purple in mind you can give me ;ink to it.
Thanks Sculptor, these are looking great. I'm getting heaps of positive feedback from friends and family about your designs. The kind of purple I want is very close to #32 - an amethyst, really (this is my birthstone). The only other major change I'd look for is to centre the text, and definitely keep it all in capitals - I think it makes it look a bit sturdier ?? and maybe more reliable
Here are requested revisions. They differ with lower font and one has brighter icon. Sorry, I didn't get you right about centering the text - I thought you meant horizontal. By the way relative dimensions of the logo depend on place you use it. In the contest we are restricted by small size so we tend to enlarge detailed icons to make them more visible. As for you question in general section - still ranking first I'm not in a position to give you advice but they make a point in FAQ saying: "Additional formats can be requested directly from the winning Designer via PM or email". And I would be surprised if winning designer didn't want to attach versions he/she already had made anyway.
I'm really liking these ones! Just one tiny thing. In #46, would it be possible to use the same font as #32, and use the same font for Rhianna Miles and Renal Physician - ie all in capitals, but with the R and M a little bigger and the R and P a little bigger (and renal physician just not quite as bold as the name). I imagine it should be pretty well perfect after that!
and after discussing it with everyone, I think the purple colour from #35 is the consensus.
So, in summary:
The logo set out of #46, background purple of #35, text of Rhianna Miles in #32 with renal physician having same font, but a little less bold.
And if it's possible to see a reverse of that colour scheme and font as well, that would be excellent (with a #35 purple background for the glom, same as #37.
Sorry for being so picky at it, but it is just so good, I'd hate to have a niggling something not looking right!
Here are requested revisions. I wasn't sure what you mean by "a reversed one in this colour? #46". If you mean white background with purple glom - I did it but it wasn't simple reversal of colors because fonts would be to bright to read against white.
I'm glad you like it. Take your time - some time perspective is vital when it comes to aesthetic judgment. Anyway, most elements of the logo could be adjusted afterwards in simple editors like Photoshop.
