What We Do
Dr. Eliot's Twice Sold Tales is a used bookshop that specializes in classic novels, academic books, journals, rare books, and other media; our store also repurposes books to resale as crafts and specialty items.
Industry
Color Preferences
Black, grey, blue, purple (accent colors are okay, too) -- colors and shades that suggest the brand is established and offers a feeling of nostalgia to loyal customers while suggesting ironic nostalgia for younger, newer customers (craft products.)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our brand is creating a feeling of nostalgia that resonates with loyal customers of the past while being trendy enough to appeal to new, younger customers of tomorrow. As a tribute to our founder, we envision a caricature of Eliot (simple is okay) that captures him laughing or smiling. Incorporation of books is appreciated. Serif fonts for company name have been used, and we'd like to incorporate a raised "o" in Dr. Eliot's name to play off a type face he used in past signs.
