Hi, Here is my idea for your review. I wanted it to be bold and powerful, i.e. memorable, as well as appeal to a younger, more modern crowd. I made the "O" in "DOWNWARD" out of a downward arrow/spiral, which could certainly function on its own as an alternate icon if needed.
Here is how it would look on a lighter background. It definitely has more impact on dark backgrounds, but I wanted you to see this just in case you ever have to go on lighter backgrounds!
