Donner Trail Kennel ClubLogo Design Contest

We are an all breed dog Club registered with the American Kennel Club. We promote the welfare of all dogs, especially purebred dogs, hold a 2-day show yearly, and generally support the continuing of purebred dogs and the responsible ownership of all dogs.

The iconic covered wagon that brought the Donner party to California is our dominant image. The wagon is the most important image. It doesn’t have to be the exact wagon we have now. Research and find another one at a different angle. Also the wagon wheel is important.

A small trail or pine tree or sky might work if it adds to the design. We don’t want the oxen. Placer County may or may not be included in the wording. Simple but elegant is what we are looking for. Please find a new way of seeing it. Perhaps wagon could be on one side and lettering on the other side.

. We need something that could be printed on a round medal, but the shape doesn’t definitely have to be round.
