Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Thanks for getting the contest started! Please note, any logo will need to translate well into black and white (or grayscale)

Entry #1: I like the clean feel of it however the design gives me a patriotic feel which isn't important. Max I'd love to see other concepts from you I love your work/portfolio.

Entry #2: I like the variation in font for the words, the symbol is nice but it reminds me of the * symbol which has an alarming feel to it.

I'd be interested in seeing logos with a symbol to the left of the word, perhaps even stacking the words on top of each other?

EDIT: we decided we want to maintain the integrity of donationrewards being one word so not interested in submissions with donation above rewards. Thanks for helping us narrow this down!

In regard to the typeface, "Donation" and "Rewards" should both be seen as having similar emphasis. Feel free to change kerning, font, weight, etc but If there IS to be an emphasis on one word, the emphasis should be on "rewards".

Also, although we're working with schools and non-profits, we need to establish modern elegance and not be too kid focused. Our audience is adults.

(for example, entries #6, #7, #10, #11 have rewards in small font, this dilutes the emphasis and makes it appear as secondary)

I would also like to see some ideas without a little picture/emblym where just a letter or the letters of the words are "dressed up" and/or modified to use for trademark purposes.

Not interested in using initials "DR", or ribbons denoting a prize.

Designers, thank you for your ideas and continued participation. We are still hoping to see more ideas and creativity, we are not locked in to any 1 idea.

We prefer the picture to the left and DonationRewards as one word.

I would still like to see some ideas of the words as the primary focus instead of a picture/icon (like entry 30, thank you Rudzy) while still maintaining the professional modern sophisticated look vs. cartoonish.

With one day left, we are still open to new and creative ideas. If you want inspiration, think about the two halves of DonationRewards: the Donor and the Rewarder, coming together and working toward the same goal, to benefit the nonprofit. Think of "giving".

Designers, I plan to rank up to 50 designs. Please note, I'm confused how to rank multiple versions of the same design? I want to make sure the points are allocated properly, I understand the top 10 finalists are also very important and I plan to only have 1 of each concept in the top 10. Any other suggestions are welcome.
Thanks.

Dear DonationRewards,
Only first ten ranked get the points, so practically there is no need to ranked over 10th place.

Good Luck,
Bordo
