LT uploading system allows only an EPS and JPG format. You would be able to open EPS format with CorelDraw. without any problem. You just need to import eps file and re-save them in CD as .cdr
Also I can deliver to you to you ai, pdf, png, psd formats. Just need an e-mail address.
We finally made up our minds and decided to go for this one. We usually use Corel Draw at the university for making scientific posters and such so it would be great if one version of the logo was in such a format that it was easy to import to Corel.
And this one with the top-line in green and without the grey circle? Do you think it would work? The buildings and the human figures are fine like this.
After another discussion with the boss and few other board members we decided to go for this one (#97) but with slight modifications.
Could you remove the bottom-most brown line? So that there would be just three lines altogether: green on top and then the little lines blue and brown...
And, for a second variation the same but so that the human figures were grey and the buildings with lines only (white buildings, a bit like in #100 but without the blue background).
There should be one more day to do this as I tried to extend the competition a little. Although I may have done something wrong as to me it seems like it went back to the open phase...
Thanks again! :) Maybe you could still add a third line in brown. Then we'd have forests, water and soil in it... I don't know about the order of the colours, though.
The next step is that I send several variations to the entire board tomorrow to let them give their opinion. On Monday we have the next meeting about the logos and I hope we can select the winner then already.
Thank you for all these variations. Would you have time for a few more? This one is nice but what would it look like if the human figures were as before and the buildings gray? To keep it a bit more simple...
Also, 94 is nice but could you try the circle in blue and the top-most line in green?
Yes, in fact, the bottom leaf represents both water and land elements.
Colors should be not problem because works in flat single color as well.
I'll upload some revisions this morning following your suggestions..

I'm sorry for the long silence. We had a meeting with our logo committee yesterday. We all agree that this is the best suggestion we have received. The font is perfect now but we'd like to see a few variations of the illustration itself.
We think that this illustration shows quite nicely the connection between humans and the urban environment. But we wished the natural environment was represented better. Would you have any ideas on how to do that?
We were thinking that maybe by adding a third colour into the figure. The buildings are fine in grey and we understand the green circle as the natural environment around the humans and cities. But how about the aquatic environment? So maybe and some blue into the bottom of the illustration?
Some committee members would also like to see what it would look like if the circle was sky blue and the bottom part was green.
And, some committee members thought that the green and grey lines at the bottom make them think of a bird's wing and would like to see something else instead of them. Unfortunately we were unable to figure out what that something else could be...
Thank you for this great idea! We like it like this quite a lot already. The only variation we'd like to see at this point is what it would look like if the little text was on two rows. It is a bit hard to read like this.
