Hello, here is my concept with the blade and roller derby elements incorporated into the logo. Letter "S" is placed on roller derby wheels, and then the bottom blade is nicely connected with letter "k" so it looks like the whole logo text is sliding on the blade. Also, letter "u" in "discount" has an arrow pointing down to the word "wear" and suggesting discounted prices. I hope you like the concept and I'm awaiting your thoughts.
The concept is brilliant. Now sure if the down arrow in the U will work from a distance for visibility, but I like the idea behind it. Can we see it without the tagline, and can you update the font to a more angled-edge font? Something a bit more modern and unfussy? We want the letters to stand out, but I think it will make your design elements really pop with a cleaner font that doesn't compete as much. Also, can you go maybe darken up the pink and make the navy lettering black, please? I like the color combo you chose, but the navy may compete too much with the black on the new website. Thanks!
You're the only one who built the logo as a progression from our current logo, which we love. The only issue remaining is the font. Would like something less rounded, more crisp for the font, sharper edges. Also remove the down arrow which in its purpose we really like but from a distance it may not work as well visually.
