Thanks for adding the word landscape to the newly revised #1 which is now # 12. I still feel that the lettering needs some color work(still not enough punch), and that overall #12 seems to have gotten the colors to wash out some. It's not quite as bold in color as #1.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the purple of #12 seemed to muddy the colors overall. I just uploaded #13 using a fade from yellow to orange for the lettering which brings the color palette together better. I've also made sure that all of the colors are as vivid as possible, added a little more depth to the sun and rotated the entire logo clockwise slightly to increase readability and balance.
hi, I am about ready to judge the logos, and I think that your entry #13 is going to take 1st place. I was hoping that yuou would be able to make a minor change to the coloring of the word landscape. Presently, it seems to fade from whitish to a light green on the bottom. When I shrink the logo down to business card size, the coloring of the word landscape gets a little hard to see. I also am thinking that when I put the logo on the side of a work trailer(which is white), the word landscape may not "pop" like the rest of the logo. Are you able to make these changes and send them to me still even though the contest is officially over? If not, instead of extending contest deadline for another week, maybe I can declare you the winner, and you can make the necessary changes and send them directly yo me email when you have completed the logo later today. I would love to get the finished product asap as I have already begun business and am slacking on getting new busines cards, letterhead, invoice slips, etc made. Please get back to me asap so we can discuss if this will work. If you feel that we need to remain using the logo tourn web site as a middle man than let me know and I will extend contest and let you make changes and send through their system. Thanks a lot for your work, and I really like what you have done!
As far as color options go, maybe you can send me a few examples to pick through. Not exactly sure what may look nice. Maybe a more solid green. or a fade of a natural earthy color like light brown fading into a darker brown, Please let mw know what you think. Thanks!
David, Great! #37 #38 show two color options and for #39 I've increased the size of "landscape". I can put together any combination of these size/color combinations you would like. Obviously yes, as long as I'm ranked as first, I can continue to submit new logo versions.
As for continuing to work within LogoTournament or ending the contest and working via email, I'm fine with either! I continue to work with almost all of the clients that have chosen me as a winner, providing changes, tweaks, color variations and I've even continued on partnerships to provide printing for some (I own a full service printing company so it's always in my best interest to forge long lasting relationships).
