Discussion

#6 Simple text. Like it. Thicker perhaps, but maybe not. Starting to play with the idea of the D and the E and giving it what looks like light and/or sound waves. Colors should be black and white however. If any color, it should be magenta. But greyscale feels best. Idea of light passing through 216 diffusion...

#125 is cool. only design that could stand alone potentially without the name of the company. would like to see overlapping circles taking up the full volume of the D instead of having them only on right edge, though I see the idea of the E you're playing with. very cool.

You think that snippet of black inside the D helps/is necessary?

#195...can you make it as balanced as 197 and 213?
#197...can you do a version where you take out the point of light...
#197...can you (once you balance the logo and there is more distance between the left and right sides) have the beam/projection of light spread a little wider by the time it hits the right side so the notion of the projector feels more like a movie screen once it hits the right wall...?

These are getting very close. I had a visual stylist / creative for some of the biggest names in the music industry (just happened to be next to him last night and asked a favor) look at all the logos and he picked 195. For what it's worth...

My wife loves 195, which I why I'm asking you to try to balance 197 towards 195 to see what it looks like and maybe we can meet in the middle somehow.

So to recap...I'd like to see the first rank without the POINT of light. Like to see it more balanced WITH the point of light as is (same angle of light beam) And would like to see the BEAM of light spread out a bit more to retain the E but enhance the "projected light onto a movie screen" notion.

???

Thanks!

Hi there, i have uploaded some variations with your suggestions, but maybe i have misundertand something.
So my explanation is like this.
#253 it's closer to #195 (removed points of the lights but keeping beam light ) (D and E are intersected)
#252 and #251, the letters D and E are have a little more separation between them. (not visible intersection) and #251 has a wider light beam.
#250 its a different approach (there are not intersection, and has a different light effect)
#249 its a little wider, but without visible intersection between D and E
#255 and #254 are variations with wider light beam, and some variations on gradients (lights effects) on the letters.

thanks for your feedback, i will wait for your thoughts.

Not sure if we can still discuss. But I like 195, though I'd like it to be more like 197 and 249 in the sense of shape on the outside perimeter. It's too square. The others have a wider feel to them. What is the deal with the competition? Can tweaks still be made? What about after a winner is selected?

Can you lose the little black portion in 196 and 140? The little snippet in the middle left...

Hi, the new logos #268 is white background version of #249
#267 and #266 are white background for #255
#265 and #264 are the new version of #197
and #263 is the white background logo of #259

Liking 249 but it's totally not working as a negative.

What I like about it is that it looks like a projection when it's against black. But against white, it doesn't. Can you get that same effect with a white background by adjusting the greys?

Hello, there are new variations to check.

249, 271, and 272 are all variations on the same, yes? Can you please put in the font that's in #257 so I can see it. Last request I think.

My notes are that the lighter version of the 2 new versions is cool, but it looks a bit like a country flag. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. Probably like the darker version better.

I'm only looking at your designs, so stay with me...

I not sure i follow your directions, fonts on #249 #271 #272 are the same of #257 the difference is that is Black and white inverted, and maybe the position of the logo. And please let me know wich one is the darker version you like, there are so many, i'm a little confuse about it.
