Hope you like this entry. I think this is sophisticated, yet still gives the military and business flare. Would love to hear feedback. Jason

Best letter font we have received. We wouold like the design simplified a bit...maybe not so ornate...see the designs we have ranked at the top....your design defimitly caught our eye

Thanks for the feedback. I am uploading 2 entries. One with a reflection on capital management and one without. Thanks, Jason

This is a take off of West Point. I'm surprised no one else has done this yet. I thought you might like the concept since your company name is based on this. Thanks, Jason

Jason,

Can you take 70 and eliminate the black back ground outside of the circle. In otherwords, what would this design look like on a white business card? Also, I'd like to steer away from the reflective element.

Nice work. Really appreciate your creativity.

Thanks - DHC

Thanks for the feedback! Here are two ideas on #70. I removed the reflection on the bottom text. By the way, you guys should try black business cards. They are great! They stand out over everyone elses and only cost a little more. You can leave the back white so if you need to write something you can write it on the back. I've done this for several companies and they always love them. Thanks, Jason

Nice work.
On #87, could you provide a negative image of your design? Want to see how it would look on white background.
Thanks

Sure thing. I am uploading 5 color ideas for white, so you can see several different ways you could do this. Also, you would have access to all these as part of the final logo if this is the one you choose. Thanks, Jason

This is the one that is exactly opposite the one you have ranked 1.

Three more ideas along the same lines. Just a little variation. Let me know if you want to see anything else! Jason

Here is another more progressive take on the same West Point idea... Thanks, Jason

Jason,

Look - we really like your design #87. Before we declare #87 the winner I'd like to work with you on some possible changes and different looks.

First - we have developed a unique strategy that will provide us an edge in the industry. Accordingly, we are seriously considering a tag line along the lines of "The DHC Edge..." While developing this tag line a saber came to mind. A saber ties in the idea of "Edge" and "West Point".

Here is my first request - could please provide an "edge like" version of the horizontal line in 87? I thought this might give us an awesome tie in between the logo, the tag line, and the West Point heritage. I was thinking along the lines of a bevelled edge.... Not sure if it will work but we'd at least like to see you take a stab.

Second - can you provide a version of 87 in all gold with black background. We haven't determine if we are going to use black business cards at this point. A marketing resource felt there is more brand value in gold letters vs white letters. So we are still evaluating black background vs white and then what the right combination of gold, white, and black is for the letters.

Thanks so much for your powerful but simple design. I think you hit it right on the head. Congratulations!!! Gold #2 coming your way.

Great to work with a fellow christian - Tom (the other partner)

Also, nice to work with fellow believers. Here is the all gold entry you wanted. This was the easy one, so I wanted to get it on quickly. I love this and and the white one. I think they both "pop" on the black and would look good on white as well with the appropriate black outlines as have been submitted. I will now work on the saber and get that uploaded. One question I had was whether you wanted the slogan as part of the logo? Thanks, Jason

Alright, here are three similar versions and I probably lean toward the first and third. I think you want to be careful with getting too detailed on a logo where the beauty comes from the simplicity which presents a challenge with a saber because to really show off a saber you need to go to a gloss look and possibly introduce silver and so on... With that said I think these would all give you the saber feel for sure. Let me know what you think and we'll work together to get it exactly right! Jason

Ok, this is going away from the original a bit, but it looks pretty cool and you could always use these as pieces too, meaning not using the whole logo in every application... Jason

Jason,

Can we just talk on the phone rather than going back and forth? My cell is 574-780-2457. We can wrap this up fairly quickly if we talk.

I wanted to show you this on gold background too, which might be an option for your cards and letterhead, letterhead being gold parchment... Jason
