Development BlockLogo Design Contest

I like the simplicity and the inclusion of the industry specific symbols (<>). Any thoughts on how you could potentially also do a shortened form? Maybe like a "badge" style that could fit in with this as well?

Here are some changes, including the icon as a standalone :)

I like the changes to the icon (more pronounced with shadows) and the ability to pull it out. I think I still prefer the name all on one line similar to #8 as opposed to separate lines as in #19 though.

Here it is all in one line. I also turned the industry specific symbols into a speech bubble to emphasize the communication.

I do like #33 and #34. I think I'd like to leave the tag line off as I haven't decided how much I want to use that. I'm also interested in seeing what these would look like as a negative (on a dark background). Thanks!

Here it is without the tagline, on both white and dark backgrounds. Also a version where the bracket/speech bubble is slightly larger :)

I do too :) it stands out a little more, without being too overpowering :)

Since we are in the final phase now, do you have any more changes you want to suggest? From the finalists I would like to see both a white background and dark background version for both the full logo with the company name and the "icon" version. I think you have all of these...

I honestly think the logo stands on its own. I have no more ideas to change or add to it right now. I've always thought simple is better. At least when it comes to a logo. The quicker someone can remember a logomark, the easier it is for them to recognize :) If i do have any ideas I will definitely let you know.

My only additional thought. I do really like it the way it is, but I'd also be interested to see if there is anything you could come up with targeting more on the continuous and repetitive nature of agile/scrum instead of maybe the brackets (I would still like to keep the emphasis on "communication" as well). I know many different sites use some sort of continuous circle design, so I wondered if that could fit in where the current symbol does. I know I like the brackets, but wondering if I would like something else better. Here are a few images that may spark an idea. If you don't come up with anything that is alright too, I know this is kind of last minute.

Also, if you just do a google images search for "scrum agile" you will see lots of other designs using variations of the circles.

After looking it up, I decided to try this clean and simple style. Several variations shown :)

Full logo for white background
Full logo for dark background
Icon for white background
Icon for dark background

Not sure if you do any other work but I am going to want to design a business card with this logo. If you do that I'd be interested in hearing what you charge for this?

Could you possibly provide an email address I can send the files to? Logotournament only allows me to upload one EPS file. As I have several, with icon only, full logo, and both for dark backgrounds, along with color formats for both web and print, I will need to zip them up and send via email.
