Dear CH, when you rank, your contest appear in the portfolio, when other designers look at contests (they usually dont look at the list because there are so many contests!) But in the portfolio, they can see who is in first place and usually they think, i can do it better and they will enter to your contest :)

I like the references to the actual computer desktop/monitor in #18 and #6, not totally necessary but I do like the idea.
