What We Do
The brand is for a classic hotel that was built in 1958 and at the time was cutting edge. We are currently working to remodel but want to embrace our history while moving to operate as an independent hotel. Our vision is to highlight our southwestern culture and 50's vibe as we go through the remodeling process and have worked with New Mexican artists to create beautiful regional art murals all over the property as well as a unique southwest gift shop featuring local artists wares. We are comfortable with what our product is and do not make crazy promises we cannot keep. Our goal is to be comfortable, affordable, and unique.
Our target audience are guest that want to feel embraced in the communities they visit and leave the cookie cutter franchises alone. We deliver a comfortable hotel room with amazing southwestern hospitality.

Color Preferences
Rustic Colors as our property main color is "California Copper" from PPG with our accents and trim are in 'Paper Mache" from Bher paint and we have a blue metal roof.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are leaving our current franchise and want to embrace the original concept of the hotel as well as bring more of our community into the property through the arts as an indepently operated property. The logo on the T-shirt I have provided as a reference feels a little incomplete as it is the original logo of the property from the late '50s but feel there is something missing. Not all aspects need to be used from the reference but are ok if all are used as well.
Most of our property has been covered with authentic New Mexican artwork by Paul Vesey, please reference the photos of his murals attached. While I do not currently own rights to use as a logo he is willing to convey those so that an image could be used. I have also included an images of our marquee. The logo that wins will be used to replace the marquee banner amongst other things so will be very high visibility along a major road in the town. Of Paul's artwork the one that seemed most compelling as a potential logo is IMG_20200103_144113.jpg. However, we are open to completely new ideas as well.
