I forgot to mention: I felt like a darker blue would accompany the light blue and gold nicely, so that is the compliment color choice I went with here. I can easily change the colors to anything else though, so let me know if you wish to see any others.
Entry #5: this is my probably my favorite of my initial layouts, as it feels the most like an official logo and is less busy than the others. But let me know your thoughts, and we can go from there. Thanks again for taking the time to review all of my entries!
This shows how it would look on a blue background (or other dark color that is not white). The borders allow it to work on literally any color! Oh, and I also added an initial starting point for the swoosh of the ball that is coming through the logo--as if to say the ballhockey world evolves around you. ;)
# 2 has something nice about the fact that the yellow stands out....a lot...really like that.I think the idea of going with the brick type tower is better than the chateau...I think that is a good idea on your part.

Hello, Here is a revised design for your review per your requests. I added the trademark holes to the sticks, and I also added some depth to the logo by having the words elevated above the rest of the design!
Also, I am sure more designers will be entering your contest in the next day or two. A lot of times contest see most of their entries come in around the 1-2 days left mark. Best of luck!
I think #8 & #9 are the two best ones so far. I like what was done with the stick. I like the swoosh effect is nice too. I can't explain why...but I really enjoy the look of how the word Dekhockey stands out in # 2....it's thicker looking and maybe more readable from far ...I dunno...but I do like that.

Entry # 2....I have asked all people ( business partners) concerned about using either the Citadelle or Chateau....and I'm finding a lot of people like the Chateau cause it represents the region form where the league is situated.. Another point was that the title "de la capitale" sticks out way better...really not crazy about the Fleur De Lys or ball..it takes away from the simplicity of a nicely done design.
By the way...it shows you did a little research on this....really appreciate this. It's an advantage you have taken away from any local graphic designer. ! Nice !
That is a valid concern about the symbol I used. I did, however, make it from scratch (flat) and then gave a similar curve to the look of the image the city has. Let me know what you find out, but I would say it should be ok since it is not the same. I could alter the windows or other shapes, if needed. I will see what I can come up with!
I revised the top portion of the logo to make it more unique (only has 3 windows now!). I also adjusted the bottom text! I am really liking the look of this one!! :)
