Out of the two, I like your other submission a little more.

It's a little bit too complex, but I like where you're going. I like the more symmetrical shapes (they sort of look like flowers or birds) on the top and bottom of the filigree, but not the sides as much. Maybe if it was a little simpler with the same kind of shapes repeating down the sides? I'd also love to see how this would look with the 'D' in Edwardian font, as it needs to match our current wordmark. See attachment.
