Entry #12 is intriguing -- it has the star in the middle, which is nice and evokes the aerospace/defense industry without too much appeal to patriotism! The 5 sticks evoke chevrons that may have positive associations for my clients. And they form an abstract Pentagon which is also intruging without being overt

Entry #13 is also interesting except I felt that the text was less bold and therefore less legible on a business card, letterhead or website. The white edge around the Pentagon shape brought it together as one shape. But somehow I prefer that #12 is in a way made up of 5 sticks. It felt more transformative that way in #12

#12 - I still really like this one. It feels like the solid blocks of color would allow it to stand out more clearly on a crisp white business card, letterhead or at the bottom of a slide -- which is great.

I am wondering if using an all caps typeface may be better. Similar sized font, just all caps. I think the lowercase is feeling a little bit weak, vs all caps which may convey more strength. Cool effort - I really like this design. Thanks for doing it!

Hi
Thank you for your great feedback,
I am delighted you like and understand my logo. your view of it is the one i was trying to include in this logo.
Here is your logo with upper case font. I think both work just as well as each other. It ia a matter of taste which one yo like.

Thanks Andy.

#47 - Thanks for the next iteration with upper-case typeface! Would you be able to try 1 or 2 other typefaces (still upper case)? The breaks in the lines are creating an optical illusion for me of a white line running through the word.

#47- Another request on this one - could you please show a version where the graphic is aligned horizontally with the DefenseCom name instead of above it? I think having the graphic integrated like this with the typeface will give me more flexibility. Thanks very much.

#81, #82, #85 - Thanks for these designs! I prefer the ingenuity of the star as whitespace in design #58 over the overt stars in these new designs. The only thing that I wish were different somehow is the typeface of #58. I'm looking for a typeface potentially without the dashes so that it will look bolder.

New font for you to choose.

#86 - thanks for using this new font. I really like this option. The font looks bolder. We're sort of restricted by the 150-or-so pixel width of the submission box. But on a letterhead or business card I can see using a larger font size so that it looks more in balanced with the logo.

True it is restricted by our submission. the boxes are 350x280 px. But as you said it can be used in any order or size once the final files are uploaded after you chose a winner. I enjoy working with you on this logo and your feedback is great and very helpfull.

Thank You
Andy.

Slight Change to the "M" in "com" .

#100 - Thanks for the slight change to the "M" in "com". I printed out the first 5 ranked designs on letterhead and mock business cards and this design #100 lagged a little bit because it wasn't "popping" the way that the others were. It is definitely a conservative look which I appreciate. It reminds me of IBM's logo. But I just wish for a little more pop, zip, energy. Thoughts?
