Hello. I'm excited to see what you all come up with. Entry #1... Thank you for your effort. It's a little to basic. I'd like to see a little flair. If anyone has any questions about our business, I'm happy to provide more details. Please look at our current logo. I'd like to reflect something along those lines. If I need to change my parameters, just let me know. This is my first time doing this, as I designed my existing logo.

Color Preferences: Leaning towards blue and brown as shown in the background of: www.twitter.com/BobDavis_1 Would like to be mainly used on a white background.

I think I should mention that whatever design we end up with, I'd like to use for Davis Impact and Davis Workshops as they are the same company, just different divisions.

#2 & #3. I'm not crazy about the font but I like the element. Would love to see other ideas you have.

No, need to send a logo for both Davis Workshops and Davis Impact. I can always make that change. Just 1 version is necessary.

I'd also like to see this be a horizontal logo as my current one is square and I have a hard time incorporating it in with my websites because they require a horizontal look. Thank you.

Entries #11, 12, 14 the "DI" icon can not be representative of Davis Impact because the logo will need to be used for Davis workshops as well.

gerasidi... good to know. This has been difficult because it's my 1st time and I don't know all the rules. I'd like to tell everyone at the same time that I do not prefer gradients. I would like an interesting element of some sort. And nothing comical or elementary. I guess I'm leaning towards simple, classic and with an element to tie it all in.

Can someone try putting the words (davis workshops) or (davis impact) all on one line. Maybe playing with one of the words being "Tiffany" blue (as described above) and the other being brown and adding an element that ties it all in. I'd like to use that element as a favicon as well. Thanks!

Play with upper case and lower case... I'm not sure how I'd like to see it.

CH's don't understand that when you don't rank, you usually don't get a good batch of designs submitted, this contest is living proof of that. Bummer to spend $400 for this...
