By earthy green, I meant forrest green, dark green or olive, possibly for a background with a lighter green or white text or logo.

Thanks to all designers so far, we are getting closer to a logo that really works for me.
Please also try things like...
a lightbulb
a path
steps upward
ascending spiral
outside the box
sprouting tree, or seed
cogs turning
soaring eagle or bird.
It is important that these be simple and possibly incorporate the DI
