Hi Mare, Thank you for the entry. It's in the ballpark -- abstract and yet suggestive of a human figure doing T'ai Chi. I like it, but I think what's missing for me is the subliminal statement: this means America's T'ai Chi Champion. (The theme elements being: American, T'ai Chi (this is the part I think you capture), and Champion.) Hope this makes sense. I'd love to see something more.
Hi Mare -- I think I get it -- Olympic Torch, right? Hmmm... not the direction I had in mind. I would recommend watching some T'ai Chi YouTube. I wish I could be more help, but I don't know how to explain things in design speak. I still like the first design better.
