Hi, the dataprovider part, could u try a couple of other fonts u might think would look good? maybe one that reminds of the shape u have chosen, and one that is a bit more high-tech looking. tnx
...maybe a little less metallic ...the shadow under a little darker, like in the #75 ...also, could u make the slogan bigger so it be easier to read somehow? maybe if it could go the lenght of the word dataprovider, or some other way to make it more readable
To ensure you get good results you should check logos with some second monitor. There are huge differences between the way various monitors draw colors and shades. Now I work from country location and I surprised how different my work looks here though both monitors in question are :LCD 19".
ThanQ sculptur, the text part looks a little messy, it's like to much information.
- can u use the same font for provider as in data, also provider in small letters. - just a little more space between the slogan and provider, also slogan a little softer color, maybe just a little smaller font. - the sweden with no underscore, also softer (maybe same as the slogan)
Here are requested revisions. This time I wasn't sure which entry you were referring to, so next time please let me know which elements of which entry are closest to what you are looking for
Sorry for forgetting to refer which logo previously.
#215: liked the way you toned down both sweden and our slogan
- the original font for provider on #75 looked actually better, the old one looks more high-tech, will you plz change both data and provider to that one. (with small letters), also feel free to try out other fonts you feel might look good for us. (a mix between serious business-like and high-tech, )
- then for our slogan and the word sweden, will u plz try out these 2 different ways:
1. move the new toned down sweden up in front of data (as u had done once in #212), no underscore, and make the slogan wider to cover under provider (also no underscore), by not making it bigger, but perhaps more spacing between the characters, if it still can look good.
2. pretty much as you have done in #214, and slogan ending right under the end of sweden, only without that extra line shape before the slogan (that place can stay empty).
Thanks, this time you were very precise.Besides requested ones I added some other options. Anyway you won't avoid fiddling with fonts if you want to put you logo in various environments/sizes. It's the easiest part of logo post edition and you can make it from source file (I work from Corel Draw x3), from photoshop or from whole bunch of other software.
The fonting in #217 seems really good, i think it might be it. But as you said, im glad we will be able to fiddle with the source later.
You made a more contemporary orange eariler in #145, i think those colors are the ones.
Will you take the shape and colors of the shape and dataprovider in #145, and apply the fontings in #217 plz?
- one version arranging the text as in #217 (sweden here not bigger, but a little thicker) - and one version arranging the text as in #216 (sweden here a little smaller font, but a little thicker)
