A generalized request. Leave period "." off all designs at this point.
Can I see this exact variation with:
- DB pulled in closer to the text and line? A bit tighter altogether.
- Leaving line width as it is but top-aligning the horizontal with the top of the "I" in Inc?
- Reinstate the 3 bar graph much like you've done on #48.
I like how the horizontal line height matches the INC height. Can we see variation with both line heights reduced by 15-20% and no period on the "INC."? As it is, the heaviness of the horizontal line kind of distracts from the DataBaselines text. Again -- solid / simple / effective stuff coming from you -- I really appreciate your help Agus.
Hey, I like the variation of color, but the more I look at the DB, the less I like it. Let's abandon further work on this particular approach (ie., the graph / metropolitan "DB").
Hey -- I really like where this is going. It's a really clean, tight look. I'm imagining this on letterhead and wondering about how to handle fact logo on top is narrow, text on bottom is wide. It sort of limits where it can be placed and sized. Would you do alternate treatment of:
- the DB at far left of image (same size as it is now)
- Data left aligned against DB, same size and on it's own line
- Baselines inc on the bottom, also left aligned to the DB and directly beneath Data.
In this way -- it is more compact, I can pump up the size of the thing overall and still have it fit on various print / digital media.
If possible - two variations, of "INC" as it is, and with it oriented vertically.
Thanks Agus - really great work you are showing here.
Agus -- Part of me really likes this left-symbol, and part of me thinks it will feel dated soon. It incorporates "graphing" concept, and also metropolitan / skyline sensations. It is a solid "D". 'Am going to just have to stare at this for a couple of days to let it sink in. Sorry I can't offer more useful critique on this! Once again -- 'truly enjoy seeing your design work Agus. Thanks for participating.
Agus -- So a general thought to you on the "DB" graphic for your submissions #3, #5, and #9. 'Am not sure how to say this -- but I like the originality of each one of these, I think they could each over time help me distinguish my brand. They are visually unique enough to do that, but have nagging question in back of head whether they will feel dated after a while. Am responding here to #9, but same though applies to 5 and 3. It may just require me to stare at these things over the next couple of days to clarify my own opinion on matter. On #9 - I like the graceful curve of the bisecting arc. It reminds me of a bird beak or talon in some respects, but definitely fits into the graphing aspect of my trade too. Distinctive, arresting image -- I'd like to see this in variations though not sure how to guide you.
Agus -- Love the typography, clean, strong - and the dot on the eye is playful. Can I see a variation of this with the i-dots in gold and the horizontal line a bit thicker and moved up 2-3 points and nudging closer to the "inc." on the right side?
