Dallas Regional Science and Engineering FairLogo Design Contest

Extended - client would appreciate new ideas.

Thanks to all for your designs so far. At the request of the board of directors for the science fair, here is a quick update:
Beal Bank's name needs to be on every logo submitted.
The initials "DRSEF" would be a great thing to have, then the words "Dallas Regional Science and Engineering Fair" can be smaller print. If the logo is printed on small items (flash drives, etc) the small print won't show and we'll just rely on the DRSEF showing through.
We often print the logo onto small items with a limited space for logo imprint, so a compact logo could be desirable. A round or square logo area (rather than rectangle) may aid this effort.
Please don't make the logo gender-neutral, neither masculine nor feminine.
We don't want to be too "corporate-y" - this is a fun fair... while there is considerable money that students can win, the fair shoudl still be an endeavor of enjoyment.
