Color Preferences
No Pastels. We would like to see it really colorful. We are working with two elements here being the motorcycle side of the industry is more dark colors and the hot rod industry is more colorful and vibrant
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We like the work of David Mann @ www.davidmannart.com
The logo is going to be two business incorporated into one logo reading: Dakota Outlaw Choppers Inc. & Lauen's Hot Rods Inc. Under the Dakota Outlaw Choppers we need it to say "Full Service Bike Shop" and under Lauen's Hot Rods we need it to say "The hottest rod shop in the country" We build a very custom product and would like to see a nestelgic looking logo with a hot rod and a chopper incorporated in the logo.

Hi guys - that is a whole lot to say for one logo. Don't you think that it will look too busy with all that information in there AND an illustration on top of that? Wouldn't it make better sense to do two separate logos, but have them have the same elements to look the same so that you know that they belong together? You know, like two tee shirt designs from under one company? I just think that as designers we'll have a problem to come up with a design that fits together and another problem is that we'll have to fit all of that into these little boxes here on LT and still make it look good.

This will be a tough one.

I like how the names are split up on number #8. I own a sign shop and am doing this contest for a customer. He is really into the nestelgic look. He likes david manns artwork, google him and you can see his style. He mentioned to me he would like to see a chopper and a hotrod, prefferably with some detail, either sitting together of going down the road toghether. There donesn't need to be a road in the logo. Also make the names have some color and pop! the first use of this logo is going to be on a 4x6 sign if that helps. please send me any questions you have. Thanks, I know this is a tough one! Thank you for all the input so far, I will show him what we have so far. Thanks!!!

When you do this sign for your client - how are you going to do it? Will it be plotted (cut out of foil), will it be full color printed, or will it be a carved sign? I'm asking because I'd like to know how much detail I can put into the bike and rod. How crazy can we go with the designs?

Please keep in mind that only the entry that is in the number one spot will be allowed to do any changes. And since you haven't ranked any of the above, you will have a tough time seeing various changes from different designers.
