For colors, we would like = browns and blacks.

As far as the icon part of the logo, we have an idea of something that will work for Commercial and Residential. Maybe steel beams and wood 2x4's or something?

We like things to keep it simple. Our current logo, which you can see on the top of our website here = http://www.daddyconstruction.com we feel is a little bit too busy and seems like it's more just for a home which we feel is all residential. So we need the balance of residential and commercial.
