An elegant typeface combined with the interaction of the "n" and "m" give the logo sophistication and a uniqueness that your clients can remember you by and permanently brand your venture into their minds. Just in black and white the logo shows it's versatility- can easily apply color upon request.

Same concept... contemporary color palette give your branding more emotion with an elegant script typeface that is easily readable.

Playing off of same concept (actually starting point in my sketches) of interaction between "n" and "m." Unique and personalized logo, just in black & white shows it's simple flair.

Color combination to a very simple, yet sophisticated type treatment... think of the type and slightly transparent, then when overlapped creating a bolder "n". This treatment give a sense of depth... especially when applied 'in motion graphics.'

Hi Dustin,

Thank you for your time in putting together these designs.

The running of the n and m together is an original idea - and I like that you've tried something different! However, I don't think it's distinguishable enough as D'nM. My brand name is pretty strong in our market - but as it's a product that most people use only once (a wedding video), the name has to be instantly readable.

I like the color used in #74.

I agree that what you've done is elegant, but the overall feel is perhaps a little too simplistic for what I'm looking for.

I hope this is helpful.

Tossed out the experimental type... kept it simple and elegant. Still layered and within the word/letterform mark that you requested.

Framed the logo to give it more flair. Visually bolder and pops more in a crowded market place.

With the next few as I was sketching I was thinking about a way to stick with the word/letterform mark style that you requested and make a sort of 'composition.' That way the logo visually reflects your venture and is pleasing to the eye and is artistically directed.

I know that your style requested was focused on a type-based or word-mark logo, but I noticed that a few of the logos ranked in the top are more pictoral & abstract marks so I went a totally new direction. The concept behind these three new logos is based on the idea of a film roll creating the shape of the heart. Keeping the logo abstract gives it a contemporary artistic feel– especially keeping the 'film roll' abstract into a simple banner doesn't date the logo... since I'm sure you're using digital technology and not recording VHSs. Hope you enjoy...

Added a light shadow to pop off the logo a little. And, added a little more depth (with a highlight) onto the banner.

Hi Dustin,

I've sent the contest out to a few friends / clients and colleagues to ask their opinions. #125 is getting the best response.

There's one issue that won't work about it - which is the color. It's almost identical to my biggest competitor's color scheme :) I like it, in that it would work well on black or white. I like that it's not overly bold. I like that it's not pink! I'm not sure what the 'right' color is ... but would be interested in seeing a couple of options.

One bride who also does some graphic design chose #125 as her favourite - but gave the feedback below. I think she makes some great points and I'd be keen to see some variations based on her feedback too:

So in saying all of that…if I had to pick one from this bunch…I would pick #125. It is simple…attractive…the logo alone can also be used as a sort of company branding like Channel or Motorola like you stated in the brief and it will transform into black and white very easily. Although, I will admit that even though I think it is the only stand out, out of all the designs on there, there still seems something not right about it. Maybe see if you can see the logo with ‘wedding films’ in a different font from what he has used for the D’nM part…a font that is sans serif maybe? So more of an Arial type font rather then a Times New Roman type font. If you look at #175…see if you can use the font in that design but on the ‘wedding films’ in #125…it may make it look boring but it may have the opposite effect and add depth…but its worth a look. Also…the ‘wedding films’ in #125 seems a like bit like random placement…as though its there only because it has to be…the logo over all is stronger without it there..so see if he can maybe marry them somehow (excuse the pun! Ha) so maybe dragging it up to overlap into the circle but have it more off to the right then in the centre and where the same colours overlaps… reverse the colour…so if the white is on top of white…have the top white in the aqua colour…if that makes sense?

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad your clients are drawn to the logo and concept. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the last sentence, but I'll be glad to make some changes with the type, type placement, and colors. I'm going to try and submit some updated changes tomorrow night before the contest ends.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Okay I'm uploading some edits for your review. I've changed the font of the "wedding films", a few color options, plus some different type placements. The new type placement on the last three play nicely off of the negative space of the "m". I enjoyed working on these, thanks for the opportunity and good luck with your venture.
