Hey, you suggested to present some new ideas as well, so here is my take!
I used the old-school 3-D effekt for a solid and recognizable icon that catches the eye.
Also it gives the logo movement to suggest the teleportation you were talking about in the briefing.
Any feedback very appreciated!
Cheers,
David

Thanks David,

Yes, new ideas are welcome and I like your idea. Totally different from the others - how would it look negative (or positive :) --> white logo on black background with the same effect?

Thanks David,

It seemed to work better on white background but #45 looks good too.

We'll have our team gathering together tomorrow morning and we'll evaluate all entries then - as I mentioned already, you have a nice idea!

Ok, just let me know if you want me to change anything!
Here two versions with the colored parts 100% visible.

Hi David,

We've ranked you on the top at the moment - how about modifying the font in the word cyberlightning in #43 to match cyborg movies ;) from the 80's ... thinner, lower & wider font?

in #44... you have some shades/mirror effects in there - what do they tell/show?

The blue shade could be more blue instead of now being a bit turquoise... this for both #44 and #47

The purple shade would also need to be a bit more on the right in #47

Hey, good idea! Here 3 font-variations. The mirror-effects and such are web 2.0-style.
It looks modern and futuristic, though I also like the versions without the effects better as they appeal a lot more.
Cheers

Hi David,

I posted this earlier today - didn't see if you noticed:

Hi David,

Our team really liked your old fashioned 3D effect - any other ideas how to utilize that?

Hi David,

Thanks for the new idea.

...though I think the original idea was better ....as the light bulb gives (at least for myself) an intuition of an invention more than (cyber)lightning :)

Thank you David for the new entries,

I think #159 was nice - as the rest of the new pack too.

We'll start the meeting with our team in 40 minutes - will then rank the logos accordingly.

Best regards, Ville
