Hey I've used chrome-look shiny lettering on a subtle carbon fibre background for that classic performance automotive look. I've added a bit of graphic glitter and sheen as well for extra impact. Hope you like it!
... and all on one line. It's a bit hard to see the starbursts, because everything has to be smaller to fit in the same horizontal space, but they'd be more obvious if the logo was bigger.
#5 Thanks for the revisions, looks good! If you will,go back to the darker shade on custom and graphics . The illusion of water shows up better with the darker shade. Lets try making the first letters of each word larger than the others.. I would like to see how it would look if you do the blue in hydro half way up on the custom and graphics. The continuity of the blue going across the logo might work. Your ideas are right on! I am really liking it! Frank
Rather than reverting the silver as you asked, I thought it might be better to increase the contrast between the silver and the water, so the water shows up as much as it did in the first version, but we can keep the lighter silver - whaddya reckon? If you'd rather I just returned the silver to what it was that's cool, just thought I'd try this first!
Here's another version with the blue along the bottom of the silver words - looks good if you ask me. I've changed the water as well so it matches the blue.
... and finally, a version with bigger initial letters, as requested! Thanks for your feedback - it's really useful to know exactly what you're after. Nice one!
This is a recreation of your existing logo, as an eps. I've used Helvetica Condensed rather than Corporate Condensed because it's a better balanced typeface, and improved the carbon fibre texture a bit. Thanks!
