Our Ideas & Additional Information
Some updates from discussion going into the last day (posted 5/22 at 2pm CDT):
- Please keep "Commercial Real Estate" together as that is the industry. (Not Curve Commercial with the tag of Real Estate Advisors.)
- I like the more creative approaches to highlighting the C, R, and E (rather than just bolding or using a different color on these).
- I am leaning towards all caps for CURVE and possibly the tagline as well. Fonts should not be too tech-y or casual...think clean and easy to read.
- No use of houses please...those speak to residential real estate whereas I am in commercial.

Thanks again!

ORIGINAL SUBMISSION
In no particular order:
- Inspiration for the name is basic economics supply and demand curve (an increase in technology shifts the supply curve to the right)...including some imagery that demonstrates this in the attachments.
- Happy coincidence that the letters CRE (for commercial real estate) are in CURVE; would like to emphasize this if there's a way to do it without looking too busy or cheesy (I think the way I've shown it in my samples is one or the other)
- I like the subtle creativity of imagery incorporated into some of the samples I chose. The attachments show what I've been playing around with using a simple double open parenthesis (( italicized which has a nice curve to it.
- Torn between classic, conservative serif font (to blend name with font for the potentially more conservative audience) or something that feels more contemporary, fresh, and streamlined given the simple styles I like and the technology focus
- I like the look of all lowercase, but this may not convey the level of professionalism I'm seeking. In general I think character heights that are consistent look nice.
- In terms of color, the 6 samples I selected are all simple with a lot of negative space. This does not necessarily have to be the play. You'll see examples of yellow / orange highlights on the attachments. Also like navy in addition to grey/black/white.
- Young(er) female business owner, so I don't want it to feel cutesey (especially given the name curve)
- I love the supply curve direction but can also see themes of curved roads playing a part in the website...for what that's worth

Hi everyone! Thanks for the great work so far! Here's some feedback...
- First, don't feel tied to the exact interpretation of what I sent. Would love to see some other applications of it!
- Prefer navy over the true blue
- Text should be easy to read and a 2, 3, or 4 color palette
- I'd stay away from the bar graphs (as it's a bit overdone in my industry)...but the line graphs of a supply / demand curve could be interesting. Attached another "concept" with the graph lines...again, don't anchor to it...but if it spurs any ideas would love to see them
- Would love more subtlety on the "CRE" emphasis than what I was able to portray in the doc.

A few more things...
"Commercial Real Estate" needs to be kept together as this is the name of the industry. I've seen a few "curve commercial" and that won't work.

Also, regarding the shape of the curves: my samples may have incorrect direction. If you are playing with the two parallel curves they should take the shape of the CLOSED PARENTHESES. )) sorry for any confusion.

I've seen some good ideas to highlight the CRE as mentioned in the description. Accordingly, bolding or using a different color for these characters is not going to be the best direction. I'd still love to see some other outside of the box ideas on this. Thanks again all!

Consolidating a few notes from these discussions into the main text...one more thing to add: the use of houses and the like are for residential real estate, and I work in commercial. Please refrain from using them in design. Thanks!
