What We Do
We provide educational resources and research opportunities for professionals in the soft furnishings industry, i.e. designers and fabricators of window treatments, upholstery, slipcovers, and home accessories. The Transparency Initiative is a series of industry surveys to provide our members with information to better price their work and run their businesses profitably.

Our Target Audience:
Target audience is professionals in the home decor industry. Primarily fabricators of soft furnishings, including window treatments, upholstery, slipcovers, etc. They are mostly women and they are almost all in the USA, although they are nationwide. Most are small business owners, many home-based sole proprietors although there are some larger businesses that will fall into the audience too. But, by "larger businesses" it's relative - they are still small businesses.
We want color, but subdued. We are open to blues, greens, greys, maybe purple.

We want the words "The Transparency Initiative" to be prominent in the logo. One idea might be where the words are becoming more clear within the logo, i.e. more clarity in the words although we want the whole thing to be legible. If it could convey either illumination or clarity that would be of interest to us. (Please do not include Curtains and Soft Furnishings Resource Library in the logo - the only words in the logo should be The Transparency Initiative.)
