I like the original colors, it still looks like its walking though maybe if you switched the position of the ladle. I'm thinking star shaped like your Northern Lights logo. Also have you tried any designs that use the kitchen implements in place of letters?
these new word mark submission are initial mockup only..need to have them done before someone else did it..as we can protect design direction from copying by other LT members.
I think I like how you have culinary in 73 with the U/pot in a contrasting color to the rest of culinary. How about the flame being yellow though? And would like to see more color options. Awesome stuff man!
Are you saying making the you stand out is bad or good? I like simple fonts like the Martha Stewart font I like the style of 63 w/o the lines on the side of relation
Thank you for all your work. So can i see the one with the pot with pot in red with the steam/flame in yellow or grey, and relations in a 3rd color? also can you use something a little closer to the font you use in 103?
For the other design can you use the original color layout in the star with the red at top a slightly stronger green for the knife. and then rotate it a tiny bit so that the whisk isn't straight up like in the original with the face, but everything rotated equally. And can I see it with the Star on the top and the versio with it on the left?
Can we do 55 with the whisk in sort of the man position and the star position both with your original color scheme in primary colors with red for the whisk?
It's a tough call between the star and man, but I'm leaning towards the star as it can be construed as both, also I think the star on top gives the logo an overall triangular shape which is nice. What do you think? Can you do 101 in the original color scheme, and then I won't bug you anymore, thank you for your patience and all your hard work. It's really down to your 2 and the one by Fermat, they are not ranked in any order at the moment. I'm getting feedback from a lot of friends and will choose the winner soon.
Yes definitely though I lean more towards the star for the symmetry of it. Why do you prefer it on the left as opposed to on top? I like that it incorporates the slogan, saves some explaining
size is simply scale that's all make no difference in the actual design just how you view it here...I've removed #147 and scaled it up a wee bit with #148 to make same size as #101
I normally do not go below 6pt of Bcards however there is no problem going 4-5pt, but this is font dependent. 6 pt of one font will be different than 6pt of another font..this is why I use only profession fonts and not free fonts which there are literally 10's of thousands
with the current logo with tagline it's a 6pt and I have just done test print and it's look great. Please keep in mind that a logo needs be scaled to suite the proper proportions of a bcard letter head etc.
Also the quality you see on screen in terms of resolution will depend on your monitor quality and screen size
Hope this help, if you have any further question do not hesitate to ask.
to make it easy design #148 is near perfect match for the layout I just printed to fit front business card. If you scroll over the logo a larger window pops up this is just about the right size as it would appear on Bcards...keeping in mind if you have a small monitor the effect will be different...
I have 27 inch monitor so when do this quick test it's spot on.
YES, but you need to be clear with each designer. though I cannot speak for everyone I do supply a solid package to Contest Holders (CH's)
Here is my additional file package
1. hi res 300 dpi cmyk 2. hi res 300 dpi rgb 4. hi res black&white 300 dpi 5. no background PNG Large, medium small for web use 6. Illustrator file format.
You will be download an EPS (vector) file and 3 low res jpg images from LT...these 3 jpg images are not print quality which is why I suggestion deleting those 3 jpg image and use my package.
I think it's down to the Gadget man and Fermats bowls, I'll come to a decision soon.
I think ideally I'd like the logo both ways, with the man on top for letterhead and other purposes and on the side for signature lines, both with and without the slogan as well as the man by himself. I know this is a big ask and understand if you can't. Does LT trademark the logo for you, or do I have to do it?
Thank you again for all of the hard and amazing work
it boils down are bowel going to do it for you? it's that simple.
Trademarking is upto you with mine I cannot see an issue with TM the character because it is somewhat unque.., as for the name you way not be able to trademark considering it's common word in the food services industry. the full name maybe.
