I've just uploaded files required by LT for you to download and approve.
Since LT upload engine allows only limited file formats, I've also sent the entire logo files package to your e-mail stated on the contract, so you should check that out as well, and download the entire package.
Thank you once again. I'm very satisfied with the final result.
...here it is,...I think I've managed to add more substance to croissants, without disrupting tecnical segment,...also slight proportional tweaks to make it clear, even with those details added. I believe it looks better. Thnx
i really like the shape and look of the croissant in the design that’s in second place, but that’s a lot of shading. again, idk if it’s possible to make it look better without doing all that.
thanks so much! i think i like this design the best. is there anyway you can still shape the croissants a little more? i think that’s the only thing now. idk if it’s the shape or the lack of shading on it, but again the printing thing.
...although, when I take a time distance and return to this design, this one also looks quite eye-catching. lol
That light coming from the background kinda lights up the whole thing,...such a small intervention and such an impact. Not sure anymore between this and #269
Ok, I've made proportional and slight color tweaks to fine tune the details of this design, and made one more option (#270) introducing light/heat between letters U and M in the title - this puts additional focus on the title itself, without disrupting design balance,...might be interesting idea, but I kinda like more the simplicity of this original design.
Let me give you quick overall logo/brand analysis, what was done here.
As you've said, overall round emblem form resembles the coffee mug base imprint and gives that warm "homey" vibe. Main title #CRUMB" is nicely readable and focal point of the logo (which it should be), by color visualy connected to tagline "A MICRO BAKERY". Both of these elements are subtly even more emphasized by introducing lens elements of magnifying glass, slightly rotated counter clockwise from the center, pointing towards the lettering of main text and tagline - this breaks the symmetry and gives more "life"/dynamism to the overall appearance. Bread and croissants (in lighter shade), as your obvious products, together with crumb elements, integrate the entire composition, without taking focus away from the title. Logo is not overcrowded with unnecessery details, but still has few symbolic levels - clear identification of the business name/title; your product line presented; and subtle magnifying glass lens (as an indication of your bussines size/type).
I believe this is a perfect balance for making your brand stand out and visualy back the quality of your products/services.
Hope this little brand analysis was usefulI. This specific entry would be my recommendation for you,...I'm quite satisfied how it turned out. Thank you for all the constructive inputs so far.
is there anything else you can think of to make this logo exceptional? that doesn’t compromise printing? i am doing my first farmers market next month and cant wait to have a logo.
Just a quick experience based note here: When it comes to printing technology and practical use of the logo, it is always better to have flat colors, like on this example (where we have only two flat colors),...this makes printing easier and cheaper (if you have a need for large scale printing, like for pastry wraps, packaging, etc., it can mean significant saving). Also, these flat color designs can easily be reproduced in its other forms - grayscale, monochromatic black, negative space (white on dark background), etc.,...these are used more than often across variety of media (print, web, embroidery, etc)
i also like this design because it looks like a coffee spill ring lol. so even though you’re highlighting a magnifying glass, it gives off the whole cafe vibe!
...just one more idea that came to mind and potentialy worth exploring - small addition near the emblem outer frame, indicating magnifying glass, referencing the "micro" character of the bakery, in a very subtle and non-disruptive way.
...this dark brown, monochromatic option really stands out, and looks good on light beige background (pastry packaging and paper bags),...2nd concept on #249.
I've placed it on a beige background, just to get better feel for it (entries #250/#251).
...you can check this specific request uploaded on entry #238. One more quick note here: Monochromatic designs are easier/cheeper to practicaly apply across variety of media (print, web, embroidery, etc...), and it often looks more professional. Hope this helps. Thnx
can i get a sourdough loaf instead of a sandwich loaf? and then like a croissant in place of the other one? i just want to see what that looks like. also maybe just swap out the load tucked behind for a croissant. i’m trying to exhaust all options. i thought i had a decision made, but then your design came through.
