Thanks for the feedback mate. I just noticed it as I uploaded new files. I'll make the changes now and upload them. I'll do the changes on my first upload and see if there are any suggestions to the entries that were more recently uploaded.
Gday mate, Can you please just supply me a design of No. 81 with just the crow moved onto the C of CrossFit please. Exactly as you have it, except with the crow on the C of CrossFit.
No problem, but I see that another designer had already done that. Can you tell me if he had done it on his own accord or if you had requested it from him. If it was your request, then that make it fair game for all, but if he did it on his own and then I do it, I can be accused of copying and I may be removed from the contest and get violation points.
If you can let me know that would take some pressure off of me and I can upload it immediately. Currently I used the crosshairs representing the original CrossFit "Forging Elite Fitness" logo (something that many clients from CrossFit gym's in California ask for in their logo). Anyway the kettle ball on either side is not so unique as to be a trademark issue in the real world, but it's a site rule that we not copy. If it turns out that kettle balls were the designers idea, then we can just ask him if it's OK that we use it?
I will also ask Ivan (the site administrator) about this and see what he says. (Of course if it was your initial request then all's good and I can do it immediately.) In the meantime, I can also do a few others with circles, dumb bells, just plain...

As a back-up had written the other designer a few minutes ago... I had not been on this site for a while and some designers had changed their screen names and/or avatars. When I looked up the designer, I realized we do know each other and he's a good guy. Things tend to get more complicated with newer designers but as a whole the community of designers here is "top notch".
I make that change now as well as enter the other versions, I was working on after I had last written.
No problem. I'll make those changes and a few iterations of it too. Also, I sent a note to Ivan to help sort the kettle ball issue. As was uploading it, I got a note back from the designer I had written to before and was told that he had done the kettle ball early on. (I'm thinking that maybe I miscommunicated somewhere.) I just want to make sure that there is no misunderstanding. Maybe we can work out something so that everyone walks away happy or maybe it just a miscommunication.
Everyone here is pretty cool, so if there's an issue, there's usually a resolution. It can't hurt to ask admin to help. :)
Mate I appreciate how much work you are doing at the moment. May I ask you to design 2 new logos one with just the box name and the crow, and the other whatever you like!! I'm finding it really difficult as I am asking all the designs to be very similar. Perhaps if you did something completely new (I'd prefer either blue/white/black or red/white/black
I was out for a bit, but will get on it in the morning. I'll see what else I can come-up with. I want to stay away from a Gold's Gym "bodybuilding" look, unless you prefer that. (That was suggested to me several years back by the founder of Northern California's first CrossFit affiliate. ...not the original in Santa Cruz, but the first in the Sacramento area, at the time it was in the city of Rocklin.) Anyway that was a while back so even though I still do their work, that may have changed or may be different in Britain.
As for just the box version with the crow: if you are leaning towards that one, I'd suggest you choose one of the same versions like #84 or #105. The reason being is that you'll get more bang for your buck. Since the files are completely editable, this would allow you to remove the lifter or crosshair if you want to use it and add them as you like. It's like more than one logo for the same prize. (Hope that makes sense.) Either way I'll upload it tomorrow so you have a visual. Thought I'd mention it in case it did not occur to you or your not familiar with the different file format and what you can do with them.
Got bogged down with work yesterday. I tried a few new versions. I did not get to hung-up an making color variations (we can do that afterwards, even after the contest ends). Instead I wanted to present more ideas, knowing we can fine tune them afterwards. I think red variations would look really good too, is Royston's color blue? or should I say "colour" : )

Gday Marcelo, Thank you for the designs. Iam please to say that I will be awarding you the winner of the contest !!! Can you make a couple of small adjustments please. A graphic designer friend of mine cast her eye over it and has suggested the following. Hi this looks stronger at least with the wording CROSSFIT. Is the red background a solid flat colour? it looks like a graduated tone to me. I would simplify it down to a flat red tone and let the CROSSFIT name take on the graduation to make it look like metal. The word Royston looks a little weak he could try it warping over the bulge of the kettle bell but that is up to you and a personal thing. I think the whole is less complicated, simple is better especially for application and use, good job! Can you rework your magic on no.127 please

Thank for choosing my design, I usually won't put in my opinion unless asked, so that I don't influence the client. But as of this morning that was my favorite too (and I'm not just saying that to agree).
Your friend is spot on. There is a gradient. I will make a solid version of the red. As for the "ROYSTON" I can try a few options. Would you prefer that I upload them to LT? The other option would be that you complete the contest and then we are allowed to communicate directly and exchange our emails. This would allow me to make several options and send them to you directly as a PDF so that you can see them altogether in the same file. Either way, I you would need to approve the final file, so you are still protected.
Let me know what works best for you. I have no problem doing them as we have been, but it might make it easier and faster if we work this directly. When you complete the contest, then our full contact will be available in the contract.

I just uploaded a solid red version and #132 has a lighter chrome look to see if you prefer that. Also I added a 3D (embossed) look to the word "Royston". I'm not sure if this is what you meant. Let me know if you want to see any changes. Also, please see previous comment. We are allowed (and encouraged) to work directly after the contest is finalized, so if you need anything else, I can send them directly to your email. Cheers!
