Our Target Audience:
People who are looking for a challenge and bored of the same old fitness routine. Ave Age; 32, 60%Men, white collar but tough, highly educated, type A personality, "go getters" but also a strong community.
40% of my athletes are women so a flexing guy leaves them out of the picture. What we do is athletic and movement based not bodybuilding and posing. I knew a pictoral mark would be tough. if a guy was doing pullups it would be a better start. thanks again, i hope this feedback help. -Jerry
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:
~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation. ~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered. ~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see. ~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested" ~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation. ~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work. ~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.
Ape, Yockie thanks for your designs. I would like more emphasis on OldTown. In my business there are other "CrossFit" facilities but only 1 CrossFit OldTown.
"How Does CrossFit Training, The Principal Fitness Program Used For Many Military Special Forces Units, Federal Bad-Asses, and Thousands of Professional Athletes Worldwide Get Alexandria Residents in Such Kick-Ass Fitness Model Shape So Quickly That Even Their Own Families Don’t Recognize Them?"
Taken from my website.
30% of my cliental is secret service, special forces, federal law, Military. The rest are "bad-asses" in their own right; Mothers of 4, former athletes, Type A personality, hard chargers...
Hey Designer team, I received this email from another Logo tourny user and thought it might help your process; ---------------
"If you don't mind me being nosy (it is a public contest, after all!) , I think that these designers should be pointed toward http://www.crossfit.com/. I think they'll pick up more of the community aspect and the grit of Crossfit from the website. It looks like the designers here think Crossfit is a sort of polo-shirted body-toning gym like a Gold's or a Curves. Maybe that's because they think Crossfit is just another gym. I'd point them to http://www.crossfit.com/ and tell them to bring out more of the grit, the grime, the tough work, the struggle, and the community teamwork.
I think you might get more interesting logos that way. Sorry if I'm being nosy. But Crossfit has made me a better athlete and I like seeing affiliates succeed!"
