Hi, There's something really nice about the simplicity of this logo. There are some things though that I'd like to change: The hair curl makes the star look like a hanger, the colors are a bit too light and feminine.
Please try this: 1) remove the curl from the star and add some facial details like a smile 2) keep the star basic and add a light bulb above it 3) try replacing the star with a light bulb 4) make the colors deeper and darker (less pastel). Like an almost nany blue and a non-femenine color as the secondary 5) try a typeface without the rounded ends, a little more crisp 6) do a version with a tag line below: "every baby is a Creative Baby"
i like the new rounds. #149 and #152 are my favorites. I like the new typeface. 1) Can you try a new version on #149 with the 2 color words used in #151? 2) Then can you do the same thing without the balls? 3) Then can you do a new version of #151 with the balls from #149 (all above hands)? Thanks
If you haven't seen it yet, check out the document i added to the brief area with competative logos. You can see how much others stand out and how important it is to be simple and refined. There are a few things we can consider to be more dominant on the page: Using bolder type, Puting some type of border around the logo (like a box, oval or some form of background). I'll try to make more comments later.
Interestingly enough I think your version #151 stands out most of all, but we may want to reduce the size of the image and try it off to the side.
