Hi there!
Finally a design that goes expeceted direction! thank you! I dig the graphics and would be greatful, if you could use kind of studio strobe pictorial. Lens looks good, but it is so beaten up concept that its hard to sya that it is unique. I would greatly appreciate if you would stay in the in the idea canyon, but avoid explored concepts such as lens, camera. Uniqness is the key!
Might be interesting to add a slight touch of color, such as small accent.
Maybe as an inspiration, have in mind that as photographer, I work with light and light is much more important than a camera or lens or any kind of equipment...
thanks much!

#14 further developed according to your comments. A studio strobe replaces the lens. Your creative eye (=uniqueness) is still in the center of the symbol. The star shape indicates that the strobe is about to flash in a microsecond. Please let me know what you think. Thank you :-)

Yap, I think we are talking now! Only concern is that I see too much similarities to a design from your portfolio, which is related to video. Actually, first concept was almost identical.
Font needs change, as I velieve it is exactly the same one as that design and placement should be different.
I like the idea of creative eye, flash just about going off and actually a beauty dish kind of shape of a strobe.
Maybe you could try to add a light stand or a tripod kind of stuff, so that it even gives more clarity to what it is.
thanks!

Thanks for your feedback. The almost similar entry in my portfolio does not conflict with the Logotournament rules since it's not a winning entry (it's just in my portfolio and has not and will not be used anywhere else). So if you like the look and feel of entry #15 there's no problem in going with it :-)

I'll try to include a tripod in the design as requested :-)

Thanks, looking good. I would like to improce font. It disturbes me that it is the same font as on video design. It has nothing to do with violation of rules, but rather with the fact, that it is ot unique, as it is used somewhere else already ad with exactly same concept.
Also, I would appreaciate a variety of type placement around the image or something like this. I would like to explore all possible alternatives.
And last, but not least - could you try to rotate the strobe to the right, or any other direction, so that light that it is thrown, lights 'creatique'?
thanks,
M

#16 further developed. The strobe elegantly blends with the logotype. The shade below the strobe makes it look like the room is showered with light. I think the direct facing strobe/eye makes the logo pop out and become memorable. By the way, thanks for your great feedback. You're definitely one of the most active and responsive contest holders I've worked with here at Logotournament.

Thanks for #29, it is indeed the best one so far, thank you.
I like how strobe blends into the logo, good idea!
I would work a bit more on the shadow from the light stand. To my taste, its a bit to strong and a bit unrealistic. Side legs give shadow to the side, while light is hitting towards the viewer, which means that shadow should fall forward, at least a bit. I believe, that if you reduce the opacity, that shoud do the trick and significantly reduce side shadows or maybe even remove them.... I do not know, need to see before making final decision.
Text placement. CREATIQUE, seems a bit unsymetric in relation to the image, due to 'photo studio', as it has to fit somewhere. I would play a bit with this part to see what else can be achieved.
Thanks for the feedback, well, you know its logo for my business, so it is in my own interest to provide as much info as possible to get the result I expect.
thanks for your work so far.
kind regards,
Maciej

#29 further developed. I've given it som thought that your main stylistic keypoint is "simple". So I've worked a little with the elements trying to bring the concept to a simpler/clearer level. Now the words "Photo Studio" are placed in front of the strobe and hit with light from behind. The gentle gradient in "CREATIQUE" supports this light effect. The elements have better form factor now and are grouped in a logic/harmonic way, I think. What do you think? :-)

#35 made more slick and modern. The font has the same circular shapes as the unique "eye in strobe"-element which makes the logo more seamless and cool. Subline is now centered and the form factor is optimized so that the logo is wider useable.

Hi, thanks, I think its too slick. It lost this kind of grainy look, which I liked much better. And a flare is gone :(

I never give up! ;-) Here's another concept with a professional and unique look. Your requested "light" theme is very obvious and the three dimensional "C" pops out and ensures recognizability.

I am really not allowed to comment on other designers' entries, but for your own sake you should ask the designer who made #39 to change the bulb so that it does not look like a rope for hanging people. Maybe I'll be punished for pointing this out, but I just have to tell you what I see...
