Hi :) here's a pirate in both "rugged" & "up-standing" versions. I tried to steer clear of any knives, swords, pistol, violent images, etc. that you sometimes run into with pirates. If there are any alterations that you'd like to see, please just let me know. Thanks for your time & consideration

Here is a more realistic & masculine pirate.

Is that more in line with what you were thinking? Is there anything you'd like to see different? I wouldn't mind doing another version if it's not right yet.

This is more what I am looking for. I do like the C on the hat instead of the skull and cross bones but I think their needs to be an eye patch and maybe less facial hair. I'm also ok with a sword in his mouth. The Pirate can be look mean.

I'm still working on it - didn't want you to think I forgot.

Here's a revised pirate. I gave him a shave and added the knife. I also added 3 scars (or III scars, rather...just to add to the feeling that this is YOUR pirate "Arrrrr-3") under his new eye patch.

I have a full color version (although still somewhat limited so that it's not too costly / difficult to print) as well as the economical 2-color version.

thanks

Hi - just checking in to see if that's better or if I need to tweak it some more. I'm trying not to make it too "slick" - personally, I think that's where you end up with the cartoon-y feel. But - I can clean it up more if you'd like. Let me know what you think.

thanks

I was thinking that maybe there wasn't enough blue, so I reworked some more into it.

I had a little time and thought it might be fun to "piratize" you (I'm assuming this is you from the Crane website...)

A few things I'd like to look at on the Pirate I have ranked first. Let's make the mouth without teeth showing. Can we make the scarf mostly yellow with dark outlines like the Pirate I have ranked 2nd. Lets add a little more blue to the hat but not as much as the Pirate I have ranked 3rd (that one is too much blue). Finally, make the "C" on the hat more symmetrical so the bottom is as big as the top. Thanks Josh.

After looking at some other pics, I think the problem with the teeth is that only the top ones are showing. Let's see it with some on the bottom and the top showing.

Thanks for the feedback! Here's a revised pirate with a few of the bottom teeth showing and the scarf made yellow. Any other tweaks that you'd like to see, just let me know :)

Just to note: I can supply a 2-color version (similar to #20) as well as a single color (b & w) version with a winning mark, just so you didn't think you had to choose.

Josh, I'd like to see #25 without any black in the hat and also change the "C" to look like #6. Thanks.

Here are revisions. I changed the C to have less forward-perspective on it (as it is #6) on all.

#26 / #27 - varying degrees of black in the hat

#28 - I replaced the black with the blue used for the fill color

#29 - I replaced the black with a dark blue and bumped up the brightness on the blue fill color

If there's anything else you'd like to see, just let me know :)

Thanks!
