Dear melisari, we like your design, clean and in line with our brief. We would like to see it also: a. CPD in blu (the darkest blu of the image) and the mirror image of the squared image. (with the street going from right to left, like the D of CPD) b.An alternative proposal integrating the slogan "enhancing leadership & career". I know it will make it less "clean" but it could be of help to better identify our area of business. I have an idea on how to execute it but I'm NOT a designer so please don't accept it if you think it's not a good idea. The idea is: remove the grey line between CPD and Partners and move it below the word partners or under the whole logo (from the left side of the image until the D). under that line will go the slogan with or without a bottom line to frame it. Thank you in advance.
Hi Sue Giacoman, just to let you know that you did right. We need some more little adjustments but I cannot give you the feedback now. I'll be back in 5 hours from now!! Thank you and regards
Hi Sue Giacoman, here following the last small adjustments. I'm referring to both entries #27 and 28 a. go back to the first image (street like te C). b. The word E L and C of the slogan in capital, the rest in small letters Thank you.
I ranked as 1st entry #59 because I liked the sun at the end of the street. The only change I'd ask you to do is to make the sun stylized (the sunbeams are too evident to me). Thanks a lot.
Hi Sue, my partners like more entry #43 that is back to first position. I personally loved the idea of the sun at the end of the street but my partners don't like the execution. Thank you anyway.
Sue, we just printed entry#43 in a smaller size (like in a business card) and the slogan is not readable because it's too small! Entry# 28 must be the alternative but you should, please, make a couple of changes: a. rotate the design (bring it back to #43 design) b. E,L, and C in capital, the rest in small letters thanks a lot
Dear Sue, we loved your last design #130 and we ranked you #1, but before celebrating the victory I'd need you to help us: a. Our issue now is the street/letter D. We made a small test and the result is that people who do not know the company name (cpd) will read CP only, the D not being so clear. On the other side we do intend to keep the street (or the sail as some people said). Therefore the challenge is to make the D more readable keeping the street/sail. Our suggestion (as I told you before we are not designer, just willing to be of help): to enlarge the "vertical" side of the C to make it more similar to the street, and make the street more like a letter like P and C. b.Change: Slightly darken the grey of the slogan because when printed it results too light. c. Question: is the font of the world Partner and of the slogan available (same or similar) in Microsoft Word? We want to use it for our site. Looking forward to your comments and changes. Carlotta
I think the solution can be #139, where the icon has a double function, icon + letter. The square helps the D to be recognizable. #140 has the slogan in a darker gray.
Dear Sue, the color of the slogan is ok. The D of the last entries #141, #142 and #143 is not ok. Actually the square makes CP more evident and everybody we showed the logo confirmed it. Can you please go back to entry # 130, that is definitively our favorite? Question: the road with a sail shape (the lower end as narrow as the upper end) can be more a D? And a C with a larger vertical side can be more like a sail/D? We know that reworking on a logo for too long might be frustrating, don't give up now please! Thank you for your active contribution. Carlotta
Excellent job Sue! You made it! Entry #144 is almost perfect. To make it perfect we need a LAST small change: enlarge the lower side of the sail towards the grey (to the right side) until it is as wide as the widest part of the sail (its center) . According to our (demanding) partner it will make the icon look like a sail AND a road. It's the last change. The winner will be either entry #144 -rank 1 now- o your last option if my partner is right. Thank you in advance!!! Carlotta
