I like the creativity here with #1 by incorporating part of the letter 'I' into the barcode. it is that type of creativeness that i am looking for. It might be nice to see the '.com' vertically as the last barcode stripe with this layout. Perhaps even a version with an outline around the letters, my concern being that as it gradients lighter it might be difficult to distinguish the letters if applied over a light background
I definately like the look with the ".com" vertical like in #2
just some ideas to play with or consider: i like how the font in #1 gradients. my suggestion before wasn't neccessarily to make the font darker, but maybe to make a darker outline/border around the font in #1. But now I'm up in the air alittle because dark doesn't look bad either.
can you see how it would look with the font having a shiny look to it.
also how you positioned the '.com' might be the better way, but was curious how it might look if instead of white letters in the last bar, you had the letters black making it the bar (either the height of the logo OR just the height of the other barcodes)
since this is one my top designs so far, I'd like to begin to see how it might look transparently atop the image screen-shot of my current site layout. Can you submit an example against the brown faded header that i currently plan to use and have attached to the contest. That way I can determine if my header's brown bgcolor would need to be adjusted darker or lighter, or if the font color in the logo would need to be lighter or darker, or if your logo design would need a light bubble outline around it (kinda like how skype uses a blue bubbly outline) as a possible resort. 1. can you move the ".com" down about 3 pixels so that the "c" is aligned with the very bottom of "Coupons In Demand" 2. can you make the shine affect not be up/down up/down; but rather one slight down/up spanning the full width 3. I'm thinking since you use two different color tones on the word "coupons" versus "demand" maybe both words use the same colors, but have the lighter color just north of the shine. best explained by seeing: http://files.myopera.com/Demonstro/albums/113949/wallpaper_shinyO_1280x1024.jpg might need to rethink then the top/bottom font colors based on what looks complimentary or contrasts well with my site's background color.
one of the things i do like about your design is that it looks like it would work easily on print as well. I feel like I contradict myself sometimes because I ask for complex/involved ideas, but when it comes down to it, i need it balanced out so that the same logo can make it to print on white paper nice as well.
I really like #23 can i see it with: 1. the space between font and border filled with either white or light color from my site color list 2. i like the shine effect on the words "Coupons" and "Demand", but would like in stead of each word having its own shine effect, that it share the effect from start to finish with one continuous glare.
with #25 i would like to see both words "Coupons" and "Demand" to share the same color on the bottom, close to color BA7832 from the attached color guide. and the top color of those words needs to darken some... I would like to see the top colors resemble DD964A from the attached color guide.
But it is looking good
Also, maybe the ".com" looks better either white or EFEBE7 from the color guide
