I've taken a look at your latest direction, and have uploaded a few entries for you. These fit your request for submissions that follow a "traditional, more classic, upscale community logotype," I believe.

I'll be adjusting these submissions as the contest progresses. If you have any favorites, and tweaks in mind, please let me know. I'll focus on modifying those first.

So, I added a graphic element to #269! After studying your photos of the area, I came up with my latest innovation. It's leaves, and the bending branches they're sprouting from are the lines coming off of the type itself.

Let me know if there are any other designs you prefer in addition to this one. I'll keep working on them as you request them.

P.S.: the color and the shape in the words is meant to connote waves, and the different versions are different colors/shades of seawater. If you'd like one or the other color, let me know! I'll be happy to expand. -Jennifer
