Thanks for the enteries so far. We are really looking for a wine bottle label so we do not need the words "wine company" appearing. Basic information we will need to add to form a label is the variety of wine such as Sauvignon Blanc, region of production, Marlborough New Zealand, plus volume, 750ml, plus alcohol, 12.5%. This information can be added as a banner at the base of the label or a separate label should designers choose to have a split front label.

Fishdesigns and Visartes, can you please resubmit in a wine label format?

To all submitters, we only need the volume as 750mls and the alcohol as 12.5% - we do not need the words "plus alcohol". Please continue to supply designs with the wine variety and the region of production as detailed above.

In response to DAV!D, most wine labels are retangle 85mm wide and 100mm high. We are happy to consider any shape, however triangles do not seem to work very well. Two piece labels are often used and these can be very effective. Your suggested shape is interesting but the contents look a little dated. We are wanting something chrisp, clean and classy. We are happy to consider any colour combinations but it must stand out amongst hundreds of wine labels on a shelf.
